Tradition of Gratien & Meyer champagnes goes back to 1864. Alfred Gratien cellars are located in Eperney, Champagne, and belong to those few cellars where alcohol fermentation is not done in stainless steel tanks, like in the most other cellars, but in oak barrels, which amplify the wine structure, and give it an intensive character. The uniqueness of Gratien & Meyer champagnes is also an outcome of careful, mechanic-free, handwork of Wine Masters.
